This 3,600-square-foot townhome in Chicago’s Streeterville neighborhood was redesigned by M2 Design Lab for a young family of four, blending comfort, functionality, and stylish entertaining. M2 managed the project from start to finish, incorporating kitchen updates, custom cabinetry, new furniture, and a striking marble fireplace surround with flanking walnut cabinets. The main floor was tailored for both daily family life and hosting, featuring a custom sectional in the living room, a media center, a dining area for six with a bar console, and a breakfast nook seating another six. The kitchen showcases refinished cabinetry, new stone countertops, hardware, and lighting, with walls and ceiling wrapped entirely in white subway tile for a restaurant-inspired look. The primary bedroom was reimagined as a restful retreat with deep blue paint, custom metallic hand blocked wallpaper, an upholstered bed, emerald velvet lounge chairs, and blackout shades for a serene atmosphere.
